Overview of RCDT Teams

Mini Team Unlimited Package (Ages 5-8)

• Monthly Tuition: $144

• Classes per Week: 3

• Cost per Class: $12

• Note: Bootcamp audition is mandatory.

Required Classes:

• Ballet (technique only, non-performance)
• Acro (technique and March performance)
• Combo Jazz/Lyrical (technique, competition choreography and March performance)

Dancers enrolled in unlimited team packages may qualify for opportunities in solos, duos/trios, and additional elective works. Eligibility for these opportunities is at the discretion of the directors and choreographers and is contingent upon maintaining good standing within our code of conduct and fulfilling all contractual obligations.

Mini Team Modified Package

Open to Mini-aged Non-Team Dancers

Unlimited Petit/Junior Team (Ages 8-12)

• Monthly Tuition: $216

• Classes per Week: 6

• Cost per Class: Approximately $9

• Note: Bootcamp audition is mandatory.

Eligibility: Dancers in the Unlimited Petit/Junior Team can participate in solos, duos/trios, small groups, and specialty pieces.

Additional Classes: (can be added for an additional $9 per class)

• Partnering (technique only, non-performance)
• Leaps and Turns (technique only, non-performance)
• Hip Hop (technique and March performance)
• Cecchetti exam class (technique only, non-performance)

Modified Petit/Junior Team

• Classes per Week: 4

• Monthly Tuition: $140

• Cost per Class: $11

Required Classes:

• Jazz (technique, competition choreography, and March performance)
• Ballet (technique only, non-performance)
• Lyrical (technique, competition choreography, and March performance)
• Pre-Pointe and Pointe (technique only, non-performance)

Class Size Monitoring Policy

To ensure the highest quality of instruction, many of our classes will adhere to specified minimum and maximum enrollment limits. Available spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, contingent upon the completion of payment.

Required Team Classes:

• Maximum of 16 students per team (Mini, Peit/Jr, and Teens).

Class Capacity Limits:

• Acro Class: Maximum of 12 students
• Cecchetti Class: Maximum of 12-16 students
• Partnering and Improv Class: Maximum of 18-20 students

In order to effectively utilize space, time, and instructor resources, classes also require a minimum enrollment of 5 students. We will allow a few weeks for late enrollments to occur.

Should a class be canceled due to insufficient enrollment, we will make every effort to accommodate dancers within the closest age range or genre. If that is not possible, dancers may select another genre or age group with available openings. Alternatively, a refund for the prorated semester tuition will be issued.

Expectations for student attendance, make-up classes, and procedures for notifying the studio about absences.

Expectations for student behavior, including respect for teachers and peers, and consequences for disruptive behavior.

Policies and Procedures for Dancer Conduct

Purpose:

To ensure a positive and efficient studio environment, a code of conduct for dancers is established.

Scope:

Applicable to all dancers and faculty during studio activities.

Code of Conduct:

Expected behaviors include:

1. Attentiveness in core classes

2. Positivity

3. Kindness towards fellow dancers

4. Effort

5. Adherence to the dress code

Implementation Procedures:

1. Monitoring Behavior:

Faculty will use a key code system on attendance clipboards to track conduct.

2. Initial Warning:

Teachers will issue a general warning for breaches of conduct.

3. Documentation:

Persistent issues will result in discreet marks by the dancer’s name on the clipboard.

4. Communication with Parents:

Miss Jaime will send an email to parents weekly if their dancer is marked, specifying the infraction.

Strike System:

• A three-strike system will be in place for the current season.

• Beyond three strikes, the following consequences apply:

• Removal from Specialty Offerings:

Ineligibility for small groups, guest choreographers, duos, trios, or solos in the 2025/2026 season.

• Continued Non-Eligibility:

Ongoing strikes may lead to withdrawal from the team/class.

• Consequences for Eligible Dancers:

Strikes will result in removal from solos, then duos/trios, and finally small groups.

This system promotes collaboration between teachers and parents to support dancer growth and accountability.
